My name is Lucy Woodhouse
For as long as I can remember my dad always had books around him. When I was in middle school I remember a floor to 12 ft. ceiling library in his house that was the most magical room. I am sure that is where my love of books was planted. You can't read Jane Eyre from a paperback, I mean you can, but you can't compare reading it from an oversize, original with timely etchings. Mr. Rochester's love just pours off the pages. There are so many books in dad's collection that I have no idea where they came from, why he bought it or what a particular one meant to him. But my journey begins today as I learn and explore and gather pieces of amazing history to share with you. Thank you for joining me .
